On November 13, FBI agents raided the apartment of Shane Caplan, CEO of Polymarket, the largest decentralized crypto prediction market. At 6 a.m., they seized the entrepreneur's phone and devices in Manhattan. After the raid, Caplan stated that the company was proud of its value to tens of millions of people and criticized the administration's policy, accusing it of trying to punish the company for predictions that didn’t align with its political agenda.

Polymarket, backed by Peter Thiel, allows users to bet on the outcomes of political and sports events. The platform previously gained attention for its accurate predictions, such as Trump's victory, and its rising popularity ahead of elections. In recent weeks, it has faced criticism over potential manipulation of predictions, though the company insists it operates fully within the law.
