New Registry for Miners!

Anton Gorelkin announced that Russia will create a registry containing information about individuals engaged in mining and operators of infrastructure for its extraction. Access to this registry will be granted only to government authorities, with public access being restricted. This decision is justified, as the registry will include sensitive data, such as information about beneficial owners, electricity supply points, and addresses of mining equipment.

Gorelkin emphasized that the tax service is taking the creation of the registry seriously and is actively consulting with market participants. Russian miners will start operating under the new legal framework as early as December.
