The cryptocurrency exchange M2 Exchange, registered in the UAE, has successfully returned $13.7 million to traders that were stolen during a hacker attack on October 31.

The hackers stole Bitcoin, Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens, as well as Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) coins by compromising three hot wallets on the platform. The attacker converted all the assets into ETH and currently holds 4,010 ETH, which is equivalent to $9.8 million.

The exchange confirmed that all services are now operating normally, and additional security measures have been implemented. It is important to note that the hacker has already sent 17.9 ETH (approximately $43,900) to Binance, likely with the intention of exchanging it for fiat currency.
