This figure represents the amount a bitcoin miner can expect to earn for every 1 PH/s (petahesh per second) of computing power per day. The metric was introduced by Luxor Technologies, a US-based mining company.

At its peak in late 2021, the metric reached $3500. From the beginning of 2024 until the halving on April 20, it was in the range of $77 to $120.

After the halving, the indicator jumped to $139 due to the high commissions that miners received, but after the average commissions returned to normal, the hashprice value mostly declined.

According to f2pool mining pool, with the current bitcoin exchange rate and an average price of $0.07 per kilowatt hour, most popular mining devices are on the verge of profitability.

Under such conditions, mining on Antminer S21, Avalon A1466I and Antminer S19XP models remains profitable.
