59The number of daily unique active wallets (dUAW) from April through the end of June totaled approximately 10 million. This is a 40% increase over the first quarter and the highest ever.
The biggest increase was seen in the social sector, with dUAW increasing by more than 66% thanks to apps such as Fantasy.top and UXLINK. Blockchain games came next, although their overall share decreased slightly compared to other sectors.
Decentralized exchanges also saw an increase in dUAW, as memcoin traders actively invested in these apps. The number of Uniswap users grew by 80% and Raydium users grew by 134%.
Despite the increase in users, the total value of cryptocurrency locked in decentralized funding (TVL) apps fell by $7 billion, down 4% from the previous quarter. Tron and Arbitrum were particularly hard hit, losing 17% and 9% of TVL, respectively. Linea and Base were the top performers. During the second quarter their TVL increased by 420% and 44% respectively.
