Tron founder Justin Sun wins honor and dignity case in China

The article claimed that Justin Sun had "repeatedly engaged in insider trading", "fled abroad to circumvent the ICO ban", "engaged in fraud and money laundering", and "is under investigation by the US tax authorities and the FBI".

The honor and dignity lawsuit filed by the businessman with the People's Court of China said that the publication of the article had seriously damaged not only the creator's professional reputation, but also the entire TRON ecosystem. In the final verdict, the People's Court of China ruled: all allegations of San's involvement in insider trading, fraud, money laundering or any other offenses lack any factual basis. The management of Chongqing Business Media Group pleaded guilty and issued a formal apology.

In April, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a court complaint in the case against the Tron founder, alleging that between 2017 and 2019, the businessman actively participated in a fraudulent trading scheme of crypto exchange Bittrex and the sale of unregistered securities in the U.S. on behalf of the Tron Foundation and BitTorrent Foundation.
