Vitalik Buterin told how he sees Ethereum in 10 years

According to him, by now the most successful categories of Ethereum applications were decentralized financial platforms (DeFi), domain name services for wallets (ENS), decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO) and non-fungible tokens (NFT).

He separately highlighted the Polymarket prediction marketplace, social media aggregator Firefly, the Daimo wallet and voting tool Rarimo, and several other crypto services, showing them on his presentation slides as examples of the evolution of decentralized applications.

Among new technical ideas, he suggested embedding cryptocurrency wallets in cell phones so that key encryption takes place directly in the device's chip. In addition, he believes it is important to use zero knowledge (ZK) evidence technology to link personal data to wallets and verification.
